Dianne Buswell has teased she may be about to make a major change as she found a ‘dangerous’ filter on social media that showed what she would look like without her trademark red locks.
The dancer is recognisable for her vibrant red dresses as she sweeps around the ballroom floor on Strictly Come Dancing, for which she has been in the pro dancer line-up since 2017.
But Dianne, who has a running joke with fans in which she reminds Them she was a hairdresser before finding dancing fame, has taken to social media to give them a look at what she’d look like if she decided to switch up the colour of her locks any time soon.
The filter took a selfie of Dianne, which it repeated six times, and washed each one with a different colour – from ‘bronde’ to ginger, and brown to black.
Captioning the post on her Instagram page: “Oh this app is dangerous (especially if you’re a hairdresser) ! I kinda like the blonde. What shall I do next ????”
And her fans and followers were quick to offer their thoughts, including Strictly co-star Vito Coppola, who she is set to hit the road with this summer in their own tour, who replied: “Gorjiiii look good in all colours.”
@courtneygroves25 said: “The fact you pull off EVERY colour !! I do love the bronde though.” @fabiak19 commented: “Love the blonde as well!! the bronde looks stunning too, you somehow suit them all!!”

@h799 wrote: “They all look stunning but red will always be your trademark colour.” @velvetbuswell posted: “All colours suit you so well. Especially bronde, chocolate, and ginger.” @lyndapowell3 shared: “Bronde would look fab if your looking for a change.”
@salgoodwin typed: “I think you nailed it with it’s current colour – but bronde is a runner up.” @eddo_official added: “I also love brondeee !!! So cute but red will always be iconic!!”
It comes after Dianne responded to rumours that she and partner Joe Sugg are engaged after amost seven years together. As fans will know, the loved-up couple met when they were paired together for the 2018 run of Strictly Come Dancing, where they made the final.
This week, Dianne appeared alongside Vito Coppola on Good Morning Britain to discuss their upcoming shows but host Susanna Reid wasted no time in addressing rumours the dancer is engaged after fans recently spotted Dianne wearing a ring on what is traditionally classed as the ‘wedding finger’ in her social media posts.
She said: “I want to ask you because there was a lot of speculation about the fact that you might have got engaged over the last couple of days…” Dianne let out a screech before she replied: “It’s a really funny story! I was in Australia and it’s quite hot over there.”
She continued to explain: “I had just flown in and my fingers get a little bit swollen on the plane. So, I had a couple of rings on my right hand, which I do. But, because they were swollen, I had to take them off, and I put them on my left hand.”
Dianne admitted she didn’t realise that was the finger an engagement ring or wedding band may traditionally sit and added: “I’m taking pictures with my family and I put them online so everyone thought I was engaged. I’m not engaged.”
