Tess Daly was flooded with maessages from her fans and followers as she took to social media to reflect on her recent birthday celebrations.
The Strictly Come Dancing host marked her 56th birthday on Saturday (March 29) and has now taken to social media to share how she celebrated the special occasion.
Stockport-born Tess appeared to enjoy a fancy dinner out as the first photo she shared, albeit slightly blurry, saw her glammed-up in a black ensemble with her blonde locks in curls and chunky gold jewellery to accessorize – as well as a birthday badge.
She was looking down at a plate featuring what appeared to be a chocolate desert, with ‘Happy Birthday’ having been written in chocolate alongside it.
Tess was also seen getting out into the spring sunshine, sitting down for a tea break with her husband Vernon Kay and their rarely-seen daughter Amber, whose face had been covered by a white heart emoji as they choose to keep her out of the spotlight.

She also gave a glimpse at her array of cards, with one featuring ‘supermum’ on the front, and some birthday balloons that she was surprised with.
Captioning the post to her 874,000 followers: “Reflecting on a beautiful weekend of birthday and mother’s day celebrations. Feeling blessed and grateful, surrounded by my closest friends and family and to top it off the sunshine finally came out to play too.”
And the birthday messages quickly came flooding in. Strictly pro Vito Coppola said: “Happy birthday wishes,” while Johannes Radebe replied: “I trust you had a beautiful day.” Nikita Kuzming also posted: “Happy birthday Tess darling.”
Meanwhile, her dance show co-host Claudia Winkleman responded to the post with a string of heart emojis while comedian Alan Carr also shared: “Happy Birthday.”
@fernleyvillage wrote: “Lovely photos and it looks like a very special weekend.” @winklefan commented: “Happy birthday tess!!! i hope you had the best celebrations.” @karen.stacey.14 added: “Happy birthday Tess, you look fab.”
