Rylan Clark insisted knowing of his mum Linda’s whereabouts was crucial, following the awkward moment during a date at his home

Rylan Clark has left his mother Linda gobsmacked after confessing that he now tracks her location, following an awkward encounter.
The 36-year-old told fans that his mum once unexpectedly walked into his home, while he was upstairs in bed with a love interest.
Rylan said his mum came over unannounced despite him warning her not to, and now believes knowing of her whereabouts is crucial.
Discussing dating on his Air Rylan show, the presenter took the opportunity to inform his mother about the update on her phone.
Surprised by his revelation, Linda asked: “Are you serious?”, to which he confirmed he was.
“I’ll have to get that sorted”, his mum retorted, not keen on the thought.
“No, you f*****g won’t,” Rylan firmly replied. “I told you categorically that day, ‘Don’t come round tomorrow morning, I’m not there’, and what did you do?”.
“Yeah, but you was there,” Linda countered, leading Rylan, whose real name is Ross, to remind her: “Yeah exactly, with someone.”
Attempting to move on from the awkward memory, Rylan’s mum dismissed the incident as no longer relevant, but he disagreed.

He hit back: “It does matter because I was in bed with someone and then I heard, ‘Ross!’.”
In an effort to reassure him, she added: “I wouldn’t have come up anyway.”
This isn’t the first time Rylan has shared an awkward, yet humorous, moment with his mum.
Last year on Instagram, the BBC Radio 2 host posted a video of Linda unpacking a delivery from Ann Summers, which he captioned: “Thanks @annsummers for the surprise gifts. Just wish Linda wasn’t here to accept the delivery.”
In the footage, Rylan’s mum is captured rummaging through the package and asking: “What’s this? Oh, no, you ain’t using that!”.
When the former X Factor star asked what it was, she replied: “Anal cream. F*****g hell.”
As she delved deeper into the contents, she continued to ask: “What’s this? Silicon? Oh, there’s a vibrator in there.”
Linda then discovered a pack of cleansing wipes and commented: “You might use them on your a*** when you’re out,” prompting Rylan to cheekily urge her to keep investigating.
